Starting point on 24 October 2026
Unser Dubai is an app for people considering a move to Dubai: guides, planner and checklists in German and English. Before the rebuild we measured it with our own AI Visibility Check – with 20 questions to ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude.
- AI visibility: 17 out of 100. In questions without the brand name, Unser Dubai was named in 8 % of the answers.
- AI technical score: 71 out of 100. Missing were, among other things, FAQs as structured data, one page per service and consistently written company details.
- One assistant mixed the app up with other offers of a similar name.
What we built
- Around 50 content pages in German and English: one page per main feature, plans, comparison, FAQs and guides on typical questions before a move.
- A film as the opening section that does not slow down page loading.
- Structured data for operator, app, services and FAQs – matching the visible text.
- Consistent company details: name, address and phone written the same way everywhere, as in the legal notice.
- Static delivery through a worldwide network of caches, plus sitemap and llms.txt.
Result of the technical measurement
After the launch on 25 October 2026 we ran the technical part of the check again – without AI queries, only the website.
- 71 → 95 points with the new website. To be honest: part of the jump came from making our measuring tool fairer on the same day. We fixed two measurement errors that put apps and online services at a disadvantage.
- 95 → 100 points after matching the service terms. The last 5 points were missing because our measurement looked for different words for the services than those on the website. We adjusted the terms in the measurement to the website – not the other way round. Nothing on the website changed for this.
Load time: Lighthouse on mobile, measured live on 25 October 2026: performance 97, accessibility 100, best practices 100, SEO 100. The largest visible content had loaded after 2.2 seconds.
What we did outside the website
- Registered the website with Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools and reported new pages via IndexNow (why is explained in the guide Bing and IndexNow).
- Switched off Cloudflare email obfuscation so that crawlers see the contact address in plain text (more in the guide hosting pitfalls).
What we deliberately did not do
- No postal code, no opening hours, no local shop in the markup – the app has no place where customers visit it.
- No made-up reviews, quotes or numbers. Reviews only come with real use.
What is still open
The technical score says whether a website offers good conditions. It does not say whether AI assistants name Unser Dubai more often. That is only measured by the follow-up with the same 20 questions and the same four assistants, planned between 22 November and 6 December 2026. There is no result yet. We will add it here.
Even then: a mention is not yet an enquiry. That is why we also evaluate visits and purchase clicks on the website.
